The head consists of two sets of actuated side plates, 8 fingers spaced at 75mm per side, to match station conveyor [optional 100mm), these are manually adjustable to suit sack width. The fingers and side plates are rotated by pneumatic actuation. The main rotation bearings are in machined housings and protected with external lip seals to give long bearing life.

- The fingers and side plates are manufactured from stainless steel as standard.
- All solenoid valves are 24vDC,
- Pneumatic supply required. dia. 8mm flexible is sufficient.
- Head length - 550mm, to suit 500 to 700 mm maximum bag length
- Head width - to suit 350mm to 550mm bag width (Alternative sizes available]
- Lifting load - 30kg
- Head weight approx. 25kg
- Actuation time is suitable for maximum speed of a hag every 3 seconds, depending on client's control system.


Optional - Top compaction plates
These top plates are required when poly type sacks/bags are to be picked up and or high rotation speeds are used. They stop the sacks/bags sliding out of position on the fingers.

- Top gripping force is by pneumatic actuators and is adjustable.
- Two tap compaction plates per head are fitted.
- Grit blasting: Sa2.5 in accordance with SF8 055900
- Primer: one coat zinc rich epoxy powder 45-60 micro metre
- Top coat : one coat epoxy polyester powder 60-80 micro metre.
